Hello Method,
As we can see, you cleared all the current raiding possibilities in WoW. Did you expect it to be done so fast? In your opinion it is OK to 70 -> 80 lv & clear all existing content within a week? It was a bit of challenge out there? Do you think it was to easy and somehow disapointed about the new content regarding the difficulty of the encounters? Compared to BC raids how is the degree of effort you must put in as a guild to clear the new content?
Anyway, what do you think about the other guilds, not Method kind, the less hardcore and more casual, you think Blizzard did it all more simple because they want more people to achieve the clearance without any additional nerfs and stuff? In a word, it was easy for Method or it is easy for everyone (ofc taking more time for the slackers)?
BTW, grats for the achievements. :)

That it for now about raiding, since most of us didn't get there to actually have something to ask about certain encounters or stuff. Have fun.

I'm not to speak for the guild Method, just a raiding member.

Though, i really don't get why people including 25th of Nov make a big deal out of clearing an instance (and whine about its to easy) that was made for 2 purposes:

1. Gearing up for the real competition in the next released instances

2. They clearly stated on several occasions, that they want Naxxramas to be a soft landing in WOTLK. A place where "casuals" can experience the atmosphere of Naxxramas, and the old raiders know the content and enjoy it. The hardcore get gear in a instance they know, and the casual get to experience Blizzard's so called "best instance"

It's fine 25th of Nov want to call out and claim their World Firsts, nobody really bother for the time being. Whoever had the 25 first man to go, would go into Naxxramas, and ofcourse clear it the first time they entered. Not only was there Beta testing, but also we have seen this instance back in the old days. The fights are far from as "hard", and pretty straight forward, even with Sunwell gear.

It's like looking back at TBC, and saying Karazhan destroyed TBC because it was to easy.

Now go enjoy some heroics, experience the old Naxxramas and wait for the race!

I can only talk for myself here but I had expected it to be cleared even faster. What surprised me was the leveling speed. I knew I would be able to be 80 before the Sunday but that I hadn't predicted that I would ding 80 the night between Friday and Saturday.

Some of the encounters have actaully been buffed from what they were on the beta however they are still very easy for the hardcore raiders. I don't really know what to think about the difficulty. Obviously I find it way too easy and I wish that we would have some harder content however I knew that all the entry instances would be jokes (and probably same for future instances) just as I understand Blizzards reason for making it so easy. I would assume we are no more than a few thousand hardcore and semi-hardcore raiders that want harder content against the other 10-11 millions. It is selffish and naive to believe that Blizzard would actaully care for us. What they should do is what they have always done: Make a really hard boss and then nerf it 2-3 months after it has been killed first time. Problem about that is that the casual playerbase in WoW are mostly people who fail to understand that just because the world elite can kill a boss in 1 week then they shouldn't be able to do it themselves.

As Blizzard already stated, these instances are meant as entry instances thus they will be really easy and doable for everyone - and they really are doable for everyone I can say. That doesn't mean that they can go and expect to kill in their first raid or in the first week even but after farming level 80 instances and getting some nice upgrades on their gear I have no doubt that even a monkey can do it.

About your question to the effort to put into clearing new content I can only say: The more effort you give the faster you clear. The game has been made easier over the years. In TBC they removed mass stacking of elixirs and world buffs and now they have removed oils/sharpening stones just to mention a few.

I btw found the 10 man instances a lot harder than the 25 man instances.
Good luck with WotLK.
