shadow priest advice.

hey, im playing a shadow priest on this server, my normal raid dmg is around 4k to 4.5k fully buffed and with normal progress pots, and with that dmg i can last nearly the entire fight withought going omm. here is my armory link. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sylvanas&n=Skytammer
but i feel like there is a way from me to further increas my dps in raids to around 5k. im in a guild progressing threw uldiar now and it would be fun improving my dps more withought having to depend on gearing me so much with the gear from that instance.

My spellrotation is this, Vt-> Dp-> Mb-> Mf-> Sw:p and just keeping my dots up, casting mindblast when the cooldown is over and just spaming mindflay when Mb is on Cd. and an ocasional Sw:D . dont know if im doing anything wrong or something.

My normal pots that i use in raid is the frostwyrm flask that gives around 120spelldmg and the normal fishfiest. together with innerfire i have a combined dps of around 2.3k dmg in raid.

and for the last thing is my geming, i know its not the best but withought it im kind of fucked with my hitrating.

so my question is, do you guys have any advice / hint on how i can boost my dmg withought not so much of a change on my gear, or do i have to change a lot of my gear to boost my dps.

Hi skytammer

1. About the spells you use keep doing same its ok. What matters a lot is to maximize your DPS time, since Ulduar fights is all about moving, stopping dps, changing targets all the time and pushing as much as your tank allows.

2. About your gear you can always farm sons of hodir to exalted for better enchant on shoulders, use kirin tor head enchant, chaotic skyflare diamond meta, replace 23 haste on your cloak with lightweave emboidery you can make from tailoring(this will be a huge boost actually), try to replace that alchemy trinket (even darkmoon card death is a cheap way to replace). About gems and glove enchants i guess keep them till ou get some more decent hit gear.

i also said use another trinket maybe the hit trinket from naxx 25 and you can replace your staff by a dagger and an offhand. another think i dont see first of all. but i havea question too. what do you said about the 4p set from our t8,5 ??? and do we get less crit and more haste?? and the last question iss, do you preffer Staff of Endless Winter or do you think, dagger and offhand iss better?? thanks for answering me

Yes the stuff you saying seems to be the best. About 4 set bonus it looks good on paper and if you combine it with high enough haste almost all your casts will have the 240 haste bonus

Usually between 2 MB u do 2-3 casts(mf/vt/dp/swd). With high enough haste rating your 3rd cast will also get the bonus from 4 set bonus. But dont really worry about it tbh.
