Hi all, which DPS does your shadows do in the encounters in ulduar ? Because i donīt think iīm realy bad, but my guild means, a shadowpriest with 4 pieces of t8,5 should be abel to bring more? Can you please tell me your experience thanks altoex
Spriests do around 4,5-5,5k single target DPS on most Ulduar encounters, the set bonus is really important though. More if you have more targets up at the same time (Mimiron p4 as an example).
A spriest is not taken to the raid only for his DPS though! Not only has a spriest the best surviability of all ranged DPS in the game, but they also heal their party, very useful on a lot of encounters, if not all.

Most of the encounters in Ulduar are not static and rather complex. Depends how many times you have to move or what ur dps assignments are. Also how well the player knows the encounter, raid buffs availiable and gear lvl play a huge role on your dps.
So cant really say you should be doing xxxx amount of dps in every try.
About the 4 set bonus isnt something gamebreaking. Just a dps boost.

With BiS gear single target dps should close on 6k dps, maybe going past it even, on a not to long fight (around 2-3 mins, basicly a long PW fight) with all buffs and hero. Right now however, the 5,5 Rukla mentions is more common I guess, but ofc it varies a lot depending on our crit (which can be a bit overly variable) and ofc what kind of fight it is (movement? random factors?). There aren't to many pure nuke fights in Ulduar, so it's kinda hard to meassure dps on most of them.
In conclution, both Ruk and Eq are right ><
