Just a question for any Balance Boomkin's.

I took at 2 week break and when I came back, the patch 4.1 had been out. Before the patch I had been firing around 15k DPS with 354 ilvl. Since patch 4.1 I have only been hitting around 14k max with better gear. I know about the nerf on Starsurge but I still can't understand that with better gear my DPS should drop by 1k.
