Hi guys, firstly congratulations on your kill amazing job.

I am just wondering would you ever use a Death Knight tank to progress in there current state? i.e mitigation being unreliable (miss/parry with DS), getting 2 - 3 shot, Lowest overall tank DPS and being utterly useless on adds.

If not why? If you would why?

We tried using one for baleroc so offtank at first, but then we dropped the idea since we went for solotanking.

We would only use a DK tank during progress if we'd need a 3rd tank, really.
Sco and Treckie are the tanks we are using otherwise and not so much because of class but more because of the people :)

Thanks for the fast reply and honest one at that you have made allot of DK's happy (a few including myself have been wondering for some time why take a DK)

Your answer of take the person not the class has sparked hope among some of us I am sure :)

btw managed 25khps on Baleroc just ams on inf blade and the other DS right after and you get stupid heals and shields when solo tanking with a DK total hax even in my shitty 370ilvl kit.

But yes thanks again for the reply.

DK tanks has one major weakness in how they prevent damage: Deathstrike. The mechanic can be good or bad depending on circumstances. All in all I find healing a block tank that is at the 102,4% cap much easier than a DK tank to heal. DK mitigation is too inconsistent for my taste.
