1, my spec is Demons,my ilvl reached 528 these days and got one lei shen trinket(and the another one is the Breathe of Hydra). In the beginning of every combat, Demons can provide much damage, but when the Dark Soul has passed, the dps would decrease immediately,especially when i'm casting shadow bolt,the dept of shadow bolt is quite low.and when the Breathe of Hydra triggers ，i don't know how to push this buff to extreme use, i usually just refresh my corruption,pull some MC ,which can not provide the dps i expect,which has always keep me annoyed.

2,As for imp swarm. i'm not Trolls.should i just pull the imp swarm as soon as it cools down? I got used to used it with my dark soul every time.

3,Is there any reason for reforging haste to 13737? How do you understand the Mastery for demon.

I wonder about something as i played Moonkin. To resume i see that all the top moonkins get this optimisation : Crit > hast > mastery (summary)

My question is this one : Why did you all get hast as 2nd stat and don t care about mastery ?

Can you explain me why this stat (hast) is better than mastery , because i see a lot of encounters (like horridon/tortos/council/primordius) where it is possible to play with only dot and starsurge mostly so i wonder where hast have an utility.

Conclusion : i would like to know all you can say about hast and his benefits on things that i may not see

like : is there a link with hast and metagem ? hast and jewels ? hast and 4p bonus ? something else ?

For example: If my trinkets are up and my Unstable Affliction are about to expire, I recast it or I use Felflame or Soulburn:Soulswap to refresh? I can ask it better: When and how is the best way to use soulburn: soulswap, felflame and recast a DoT when a good proc occurs?

If a Method's warlock can answer this I'll be much more confident because of their knowledge and experience!

The main reason I'm asking is, I ran some Sims with my Warlock, with the gear I have, and the stat weights ended up leaning heavily towards crit. As far as substats go. Intellect outweighed Crit by more than double. The first sim was Int (4.40) > SP (3.51) > Hit (2.84) > Crit (1.89) ~= Haste (1.85) > Mastery (1.73). I reforged all my gear but noticed some of the pieces of gear were reforged from Haste to Mastery. Only a few. I reforged them myself to get a bit more haste but when I did the second sim, my scale factors completely changed. I used the same gear set. The second sim results showed: Int (4.38) > SP (3.50) > Hit (2.79) > Haste (1.91) ~= Crit (1.89) > Mastery (1.74). Haste now outweighed Crit. It also provided about a 500 DPS increase. Does this mean that I should get away from the Crit build and reforge more into haste, or should I leave it the way it is? Should I aim for a haste threshold and just stay there, or is haste still a good beneficiary after a threshold? Crit is still heavily valued. I'm just a bit confused as to how you actually choose the final stats, for the best results when something like this occurs. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I really want to get this theorycrafting thing down. I want to play at a more competitive level, like you and I need to know how to execute this properly, to do so. im a Destruction warlock of 505 i lvl my guild is in progression into ToT up to Megaera. im running a intell equip trink and a haste equip trinket. rocking the t15 2 set almost four set bonus. i was curious if affliction or demonology at my current ilvl would be better for the guild than destro... im sustaining 95k dps as is..

We're just getting our feet wet with heroics and just downed Tortos. Right now I've been using Ji-kun's trinket and the Shado-Pan trinket as an Unholy DK. However I'm wondering if I should use Primordius's trinket or Horridon's over it (I have Horridon's at 528). I don't have access to either of the heroic versions yet...I'll probably have access to Horridon's next week but I'd like to see other opinions on it.
