About the endless fight between Rupture and Eviscerate:

Rupture give the most dmg/en output, that's one of the reason why EJ says it's better to use it.
That's true but with few consideration:
1)U don't wanna use it when u are in Red stage of the insight
2)U don't wanna use it when u are under AR, simple because the energy does not matter during it
and it's better to blow all the energy that u can
3)When u have buff that will lead u to cap your energy faster


Some rogue prefer to spam Eviscerate because it's more easy, but the dmg is not completely optimal, and don't
trust people that base their choice from Logs, because there are too many variable involved.

What nosfe said about rupture is pretty much true. The main thing to consider here is that using rupture is (in a perfect world) estimated to be around 200 dps gain.

Now, 200 dps gain is good enough to use you say, right?

Here's the deal though: This estimation includes all those factors nosfe mentioned, BUT it doesn't include energy capping in any way. As our main source of numbers has never calculated energy capping, we can't really know for sure how much of a difference this actually makes, but my own guesstimation says that it's really close to those 200. So I don't bother with using rupture.

To get a rough idea how much energy is worth to you, check what the tricks glyph is worth. For me, 15 energy every 30 seconds is worth 628 dps.

It's nowhere near pretty, but that has never been the point. It's clear, displays all relevant information in a noncluttered easy way.
Also I haven't changed it for 3 years now, I'm a lazy bum.

That's my Ui.

The BW timers are a bit off the center because i changed my monitor few months back and i never fixed them after that.

Also usally the buff/debuff below the target and the player frame are not there, but i had myself in focus.
