Ive recently started playing holy in ds25 hc, and been looking around on armory on other holy priests.
Seems like all in top guilds are not using the 12.5% haste cap.
is mastery that good for me?

Everyone has the haste soft cap in top guilds. Even if you don't want it (which you obv do) you can't dodge it because the gear has it anyway.
Don't forget that the haste soft cap is 7.5% plus the 5% from raid buffs.
Yes, mastery is very good for you and all dem priests !
