Windwalker Monk Viability

Hi Guys

I am currently building a thread http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...ovement-Thread discussing whether or not Windwalker monks are truly a viable option for top end guilds come MoP and further more if they are not what could make them more viable.

I would love to get opinions from your guys as to whether you intend to include Windwalkers in your MoP roster and if you do not, why not and what might make you change your mind.

We don't see them as a good melee, will we use one? Perhaps.
The windwalker spec lacks things right now - but the Brewmaster is still a good tank in terms of high spike damage mitigation. We need to keep our options open so we will see what we use.

Don't expect to see more than 1 Windwalker in it's current state.

This is pretty much what I feared would be the case and why I start the thread on mmo. Let's hope I can draw enough of Blizzards attention to it in time to get some much needed love for the spec before MoP raiding gets off the ground. Just a shame they don't seem to bother looking at the EU beta forums only the US ones :(

Well you have to keep in mind there are 3 specs available for us, we`re like paladins.
Do you expect more then 1 retribution paladin in the raid, if at all?
It's hard for them to balance this out.

We already have a good tank spec - although it lacks a really good raid cooldown and also the healing spec is seemingly doing okay.

I will be playing Brewmaster as MS so it's not game breaking for me but now is the time to poke Blizzard to try to get some love on the specs that are a bit lacking, the funny thing about WW is they had an awsome CD in Zen Med and they also had a cleave mechanic in Tigereye Brandy but Blizz decided to remove or nerf them, so they must have seen something that we are not. I'm kind of hoping they might look at the Avert Harm nerf too, whilst much needed I think they went a bit too far. Doesn't hurt to ask, it's not like what is being asked for in my MMO post would make WW OP, just make them more competative, oh well, will just have to wait and see.
