Thread: Suggestion on forum thread options

  1. #1

Default Suggestion on forum thread options

I've as of late started getting annoyed how everytime a new thread is posted it show up as new to me, i read the reply, refresh and some other guy have posted something new in that thread.

These threads are usually not of interest for me to read so the constant showing of new replys cause a problem in my filtering process of what to read on the forum.

Im suggesting a option to select "ignore thread" this will make your news update of new posts ignore new replys in that thread.

You think we have some vbulletin developers here?
You can just ignore the thread and use the "Mark forums Read" option if you dont want to click on it to get it unmarked.

    Well i dont know :(

Figured i post it as a suggestion and see if something could be done from our websites development team, i guess i should bring my whine to the vbulletin developing forums.

Mark forums read makes all threads and posts be marked as read, this is not configurable enough for what im suggesting.

Shame it's not IP.Board, used to develop addons for that, and it's much better than vB :P
