    We didn't use warlocks to go down with our tactic

    just sb+ss and drain soul asap to get 4 more shards and keep going until u go out!

    Spark,

    Love the guide, super helpful. Was curious if you could shed some incite on what specs are most ideal for each heroic encounter. You created one for DS and I found it extremely helpful.

    we played demo on stone guards, demo on feng, affliction on garajal, demo on spirit kings, affliction on elegon and affliction on will

    Thanks a lot, and yea i'll prolly do some guide towards what to play for every encounter at some point. Atm we played Affliction 3 / 6 and Demonology 3 /6. Can watch my videos on yt

    but why demon on stoneguard? u can muti dot, im aware that they have 90% dmg reduction but still it must count someways :)

    Demonology is very strong on 2 targets, and it's somewhat easier to control it when you tank switch a lot. The main issue of demonology on this fight is the fact that you will have Wild Imps stuck on wrong target and things like that!

    Is it only worth applying haunt if you're going to MG the target, or is it beneficial to throw out haunts on your focus targets as well?

    The thing is, we are capped on Soul Shard regeneration and we are only able to have 4, so let's say you have 2 targets and 2 soul shards ready, should you cast haunt on both or save it?

    Scenario #1 where you use your 2 soul shards to haunt two different targets:

    Target 1 - Dots + Haunt + MG
    Target 2 - Dots + Haunt


    Scenario #2 where you use your 2 soul shards to reapply haunt on your MG target

    Target 1 - Dots + Haunt + MG (+ Haunt)
    Target 2 - Dots

    As you can see, it's easy to spot it will always be better to use your soul shards to reapply haunt to the target you MG over putting it on the focus target. You will gain +25% on your MG ticks (if it actually does increase MG ticks) and +25% on your dot damage vs doing MG on main target (because you are out of shards) with no 25% damage. Becuase of the fact you have 2 shards, you will only be able to make your focus target dots do 25% more damage, but if you spend that shard to make your main target dots do 25% more damage (after first one expired) they equal out in total damage done and because you MG on top of it, it was simply a waste to haunt the focus target.

    The only time you want to use Haunt on focus target, is if we reach a point where we get capped on 4 soul shards.
