I found out that my main problem is just DoT.
When restoring DoT dps always fall down. Trying to most effectively restore DoT but not me. Always around 6 sec restore while decreasing dps.
What may be how to correctly restore falling dps?

Can you put in the haste cap in simC somehow or do you just sim and take the scale factors + add the hastecap in reforgelite ?
Since your talking about how mastery goes up after the cap etc etc
You can adjust haste raiting in the sim text manually or reforge to the caps and then sim the character to get the scale factors. Then judge the DPs difference without any +/- length of fightOriginally Posted by Jabbawockeez

I have other couple of questions, since Afflicion it's way more hard then Destruction and Demonology nowadays,I guess noone will disagree with me.
You need to smash your head against the wall until you find the "almost" perfect rotation, on this spec it's hard to make a perfect rotation.
Now I got why at the start I was pulling less dps then the other lock, because I was SB:SS and DS, instead of DS, SB:SS. I was loosing all my procs/DS for my dots at the start.
About reforges which it's best, with a 478 item level? 4198 or 4717, since atm if you go for the 2nd option I will have more 300 haste over mastery. Isn't a dps decrease having more haste then mastery on Affliction spec?
When my intellect trinkets, enchant back proc's, I felflame and I refresh BOA, after that I cast Haunt, I try to benift from it the most I can. My question it's should I use felflame or recast manually ? Since Felflame consumes sooo much mana.
*Varia* About quartz, mine still not updating atleast on wow curse client, it's still giving me lua errors. If you told that you're using Quartz it's because it's working properly for you, where did you updated it?

Last question, our Doomguard update dynamically from proc's? Or when proc's fade his doombolts will be more weak? I hope you understand the last question, it's complicated to explain.
For example, let's imagine I have 4 proc's active and he it's hitting like a truck, 100k each doombolt :p. When all proc's fade, he will still hitting like a train(100k) or doombolts damage will be cut at half?

The Doomguard updates on the fly, so it snapshot updates the stats and procs you have, so no need to wait with popping it for procs.
Both Quartz and Fortexcist seems to be working fine with showing channel ticks at this moment.
I dont think its worth refreshing with Fel Flame, but it's rather complicated to do the math of when you should refresh the dots manually and at what time. Just try to not overwrite proper procced dots while you have no procs and try to use pandemic to reapply dots before procs expire within the pandemic range so you loose 0 DPS from reapplying.

I didn't knew ForteXorcist had a channel cast bar because I can't find it. Also I have ForteXorcist to see my ICD on lightweave. Quartz isn't working for me, if it's turned on I have always lag spikes.

just go to spelltimer-my spells in the forte menu and check "channel / drain".
Just try to simulate your character with the two different caps and see your final DPS outcome without any +/- in length of fight. Then you have a rough estimate of whats better.
Strange as it seems, I ran simulation at may be wrong. I could have done something wrong.
That's why I'm asking, because it says 4717 haste rating wins over 4198. And my mastery it's like 4400, which means less 300 then haste.
However I did more burst damage on Gara'jal HC with 8% haste rating, then with 11%.
I just hope they remove reforge once for all. Being all the time /facekeyboard with stats isn't not even funny anymore!
And when you have an warlock in your guild that don't care with reforge and have 4400 haste and 11% hit rating, pawning the meters all the time its O.o... In almost all fights he it's top 1.
Other classes are like us with this reforge problems?
